The technical note summarizes the specifications of the required exchange file format used in the O2A world. In order to submit data to the ingest data streams it is necessary to meet the respective requirements described in this document.

It must be cited as follows:

The deprecated but still supported version 1 of the NRT format will be discontinued in 08/2025 with the release of the new NRT database specialised in time series (see this post). From this date data can only be submitted to the framework when it looks like this example from RV Sonne's thermosalinograph:
